Spanish Translator Per Diem

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional and experienced English/Spanish translator who can do more than just translate copy from English to Spanish and vice versa. Successful candidates will translate written communications from one language to another, adhering to the author’s original message, sense, intention, and style to the greatest extent possible.

Job Functions:

• Convert text from the source language to its equivalent in the target language
• Speak, read, and write Fluently in both Spanish and English
• Relay the style and tone of the original language
• Ability to manage work schedules to meet deadlines
• Edit, proofread, revise, and finalize translated materials prepared by other employees and/or consultants

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience translating documents in a business setting (Preferred)
• Bi-lingual Spanish and English proficiency (Required)
• Grammar expertise
• Familiarity with educational, medical and/or legal terminology
• Exceptional reading comprehension
• Superior communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
